The scope of work for the projects was to remove the entirety of the failed sealant from two 12-story buildings and to replace all sealant with Dowsil CWS (Contractor’s Weatherproofing Sealant). Building #1 was completed in 2023 over a 5-month period and building #2 was completed over the same period in 2024. In addition to the sealant replacement, Dow DOWSIL™ Allguard Elastomeric Coating was applied to all pre cast concrete surfaces. Both buildings were inspected and approved by the project engineer following completion.
